I'miss the odd ball out. I like the 3rd one best. Makes me think of a storm brewing. Kinda like the one outside my window right now.

Absolutely wonderful quilt theme! No doubt this is your view of the Gulf of Mexico. The horizon is usually a very thin dark line, with the sky above (view 2) so I am in favor of one or possibly two rows of dark rectangles at the top. This said, you might graduate the colors, darker to darkest as you near the horizon.

This is beautiful. Congratulations on such a beautiful look. I think I might go with view 3. I might even go with just one row. The thin dark line being the horizon. Once the sky is built I think that would be beautiful. That said, I really like view 1 best right now as is so I am sure whatever you decide will be right.

this is beautiful, the dark blue in second picture looks like an underside of a wave, with sun peeping over, amazing.

What a gorgeous quilt! I think I like #1 best, but #3 looks good too!
