Hi All,
It may be called quilting with friends, but I am traveling alone. So I will be quilting with friends I haven’t met yet. Anyone else going?

I went to the Fall Forum Retreat last year...... first retreat ever and drove 1400 miles on my own and didn't know a soul. Had a blast!! You will have a great time and make lots of new friends so relax and have a wonderful retreat!!

I have only gone to two retreats....both of them wonderful. Second one was much better because I was healthy, felt better, and knew some of the ladies who attended. I recommend the retreat experience. I'm so glad your first retreat was a success. WOW! to drive all by yourself that far....I admire you.

Enjoy your retreat and have fun. You may be traveling alone, but soon after the retreat begins, you will have many new friends from near and far.

Going back again this year (and driving again) and will be leaving in a few days. Looking forward to seeing all the new friends I made last year!!

wow Azmotogirl, you love driving. my step dtr who's only 5 yrs younger than i am loves to drive alone. takes care of any relative who needs her. She drove me from Colorado to Houston, TX when i moved with 3 cats in the car.
i've yet to do a retreat. Have fun ya'll!!!

I am also excited for the fall forum retreat. I am picking up two gals from out of town, at the airport, they will be staying with me and we will head to the retreat on Sunday morning. Its been a long spring and summer waiting for this time to arrive. Whoo hoooo, 5 days to go.

Went to my first M* retreat 7 years ago. Didn't know a soul, except through the forum. Had a great time, met may lovely, new freinds, and have gone back annually for our Fall Forum Retreat. Since you are a forum member, you should consider joining us for that one. It is considered a private retreat, so it will never be listed on the EventBrite site. It is however available through here, if you are a forum member.
