    Default How did that happen??????

Did not catch this until I was finishing the binding. Fortunately, it is on the back near the corner. I can fudge this with the label. Do not know how this happened???

What type of machine was it quilted on? Longarm on a frame, longarm sit down or domestic machine.

Regular sewing machine with a walking foot. I do know I needed to use more pins and it needed to be sewn edge to edge. The technique worked well otherwise. I am just annoyed I did not catch it when i was trimming the edges before se we ing on the binding.

Yep it definitely flipped and pleated during the quilting process. When I baste my quilts together I always flip them over and check to sure nothing is pleated. I also put my safety pins about every 4" around the edge of the quilt to hold all layers flat as I quilt. It is possible to pick out the binding in that area, then pick out the offending quilting, lay it all flat trim where you have to, and quilt is back together and finish the binding.

After I have sandwiched & pin basted my quilts, I machine baste them around the perimeter with a serpentine stitch. I also pin the excess batting that protrudes beyond the edge of the top to the backing fabric. It helps prevent fabric getting caught underneath while quilting.
