When I am gifting a quilt I fold it in half lengthwise, then fold over again, so I have a very long narrow piece. Then I fold one end over the from edge to edge, then I start rolling it from the edges to the folded center. Make a very nice log shape then tie it in the middle with a fabric strip and make a bow. They store very well standing on end, I make a lot of these for Child and Family Service moms and kids, and also my family.
