    Default Mistake when practice

I decided to try bamboo batting and some polyester batting to create loft.

All I have left to practice with is some kind of fake silky fabric that is really slippery.

So I thought I could sew a few petals and practice for my dream big panel.

For some reason this slippery fabric decided to glue it self to my sewing machine.

It is dreadfully hard to make it move. But at least I learned something.

If I will practice with this fabric again. I will have a cotton backing!!

Here is a picture of to nights effort.

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

Your FMQ always amazes me! It's beautiful.

I stay away from slippery/silky fabric at all times. What you have shown is really pretty. See, even when you practice you learn, then you share, and then we learn. Thanks
