God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

I checked that one out last night, but I don't like unfinished edges, so I might modify it.

I love it in bright colours. It would be cheerful for any kid.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.

Cute quilt in even cuter fabric.
I am pretty sure I wouldn't let the quilting turn up the edges but working with fmq that would be fairly easy to avoid.
    Thanks for posting the link.

Just have to say that I shudder watching her cut around that curve with that big cutter. I shudder at the way she cuts actually. I never hold my hand that close to the edge.

Pretty easy to replicate the pattern. This is my experiment:

I used a 10" square, 8" circle and a 5" circle (the 6" didn't look right). You could use zigzag or a blanket stitch instead of the straight stitch. So many possibilities.
Blessed are the children of the piecemakers for they shall inherit the quilts!

Or maybe a plate and a small cutter?
