    Default Work in progress

    Hi
I thought that I had ran out of batting. But I found some old polyester batting that would do for practice.

So I decided to practice border and have designs on top of each other and straight lines.

    It is still in progress.
I am thinking of putting in pebbles in the cathedral windows but have not yet made up my mind.

    Here is a picture.

    What you think ?

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

If I could do feathers half as lovely as yours, I would be thrilled. You do such a terrific job on your quilting.

    Gorgeous. Simply stunning.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.

    Thank you all !

I am in boot camp so that I will be ready to fmq my lone star quilt as soon as I have secured the backing and batting for it.
Do not know when that will be . I have just left my car at the repair shop and that will not be cheap.

I do sense a whole cloth quilt in a not to far future ahead.

    Have a great day/Evening

    Annika

Your design is very beautiful. I especially like the switchback lines contrasting with the gorgeous feathers you did. This is lovely and inspiring.
