I bought two new chairs for the living room but we come in the house so dirty from yard work that we didn't want to sit in them. So, I made some chair pads that we can wash.chaircover1.jpgchaircover2.jpgthese are both the same, just one picture taken in the daylight and the other with lamplight in the evening

Re: new covers for my new chairs
Just measure the seat bottom and make five squares that size. Then, border them all separately and sew three across that will be the seat and the two arms . Then use the other two for the back and over the back. Then, just sandwich the whole piece with batting, quilt and bind. I was thinking of making the arms a little longer and turning them up right and making pockets for remotes and phones but DH didn't think that was a good idea.Originally posted by Momofmonsters5 View PostDo you have a pattern, my parents would love those!success is walking from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiam

What a great idea and, of course, clever and lovely work! Thanks for sharing how you made them, Terry.“Of all the paths you take in life, make sure a few of them are dirt.” ― John Muir

Re: new covers for my new chairs
They turned out really nice. I wonder if someone made them with scrappy stash squares and called them Doggie Chair Covers if they would sell at Craft Fairs?https://forum.missouriquiltco.com/co.../icon_wave.gif
