Default new covers for my new chairs

I bought two new chairs for the living room but we come in the house so dirty from yard work that we didn't want to sit in them. So, I made some chair pads that we can wash.Click image for larger version.

So clever. More places to use quilts and they look great.

Just measure the seat bottom and make five squares that size. Then, border them all separately and sew three across that will be the seat and the two arms . Then use the other two for the back and over the back. Then, just sandwich the whole piece with batting, quilt and bind. I was thinking of making the arms a little longer and turning them up right and making pockets for remotes and phones but DH didn't think that was a good idea.

What a wonderful idea. I like the colors you choose . Since you can wash them it would be good for people with pets that insist on sitting on the furniture with dirty paws.

What a great idea and, of course, clever and lovely work! Thanks for sharing how you made them, Terry.
