Default Enchanted Garden pieced and machine appliqued

This is the Enchanted Garden kit that I purchased from Keepsake Quilting. This design has the smallest pieces that I have ever worked with. Here is a picture of 14 small pieces all of which fit on one dime that make the flower centers in block 9.Click image for larger version.

ID:	159012 I had to use tweezers to assemble this design and I used Elmers washable school glue to temporarily hold the pieces in place on the light box until I could move the entire assembly to the ironing board to be fused.

It took me as long to machine applique down all the small pieces as it took to me to assemble it. I used ten different colors of 70 weight polyester thread. Here is the front and back to show the machine applique. I free motion quilted it.

Here is the whole top. It was worth every minute of work and I would happily do so again.

I, too, would not have the patience to make something like this. Yours is stunning. A real work of art.
