    Terry ~ Keep up the good work! It's amazing how good scraps look regardless of what fabrics they are next to. I'm always such a matchy-matchy person, wanting the colors & fabrics to coordinate, that it probably hinders me at times.

    I was watching a tutorial on layer cakes and I said, "no way" The instructor said to sort the layer cake out and take out all the ones you don't like. Well, then, that is what I had here....a bunch of pieces that were taken out of the layer cake that nobody wanted. have hundreds of charms from that truck load of fabric and they are all so similar. It is taking its toll on me just to put them together. If I were sorting out the things I don't like, I'd never produce a quilt but amazingly, once they go to gether, I get pretty excited with the outcome. Kind of like a mystery box. My daughter says she only wants to sew what she imagines., I on the other hand, really love the surprise.
