Default Rain Rain Go Away Sewing Scrappy Baby Quilt

Boy, I'm getting rusty from all this rain! However, it did keep me inside sewing. Scrappy baby quilt @ 36"x42". Can't tell you what the pattern is. I downloaded it from somewhere and wanted to try it out. Looks complicated, but it's not. I bordered the squares to make it larger; wasn't part of the original plan. Also put a wider border on top and bottom. Back is the floral fabric. Used up what I had on hand including a bundle of fat quarters. Quilted on my ancient Homesteader longarm. Color is not quite right, it's a little richer. The floral has all of the colors that are in the solid blocks. Two good things! More fabric out of my stash and it's finished!!

I'm so excited!! With all that's out there in cyber world, I was able to find the article/pattern. https://quilterinmotion.wordpress.co...ject-underway/ I started mine with 7" blocks, though and bordered them. Here's more info on her design https://seehowwesew.wordpress.com/20...eaways/http://

Pattern is still out there and it's free! https://s23928.pcdn.co/wp-content/up...ead.pdfhttp://

That is a really pretty quilt! What an interesting approach to use a floral as the background fabric! I love the soft colors of your solids! Nice job!
