Default Is there ONE interfacing to use for tshirt quilts?

I've been asked to make a quilt using neighbor's late husband t-shirts. Needless to say, I don't want to make a massive booboo. So far, I've found several Pellon 906F, SF 101, SK 135 Sheer knit, etc. Which is the easiest to use/.quilt/sew?

    Any pointers?

    Thanks.

You want the tshirts to not stretch anymore, so a woven interfacing is what you need. SF101 is the woven sold by Pellon. Try to get it when on sale or with a coupon at Joann's to save money. Walmart also has a decent price on it

I use the Pellon SF 101. Definitely wait for a sale or coupon. Because I have made several t shirt quilts for my children and others, I buy it by the bolt when I get a great sale.

Well I hope you have better luck than me. Placed order for local pick up at store to save on shipping, but with in hours 2 of the 3 items got cancelled. Guess actual store stock and web site stock for the store are not in sync with each other. Giving it one last shot and reordered with shipping to me, see if warehouse actually has stock to fill the order.

I used a french fuse interfacing. It's really soft and drapy and doesn't add much more weight to the quilt. Tshirt quilts get VERY heavy.

I ended up with the SF 101. Haven't started the quilt yet. You'll probably hear me, lol.
