As many of you know my husband was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma three years ago. Last month he had his last chemo treatment and Friday he had a cat scan and it came back all clear! I am not sure it is ever safe to use out of the woods and cancer in the same sentence, but we are smiling like a couple of sillies here and just basking in the glory of the good news. And he doesn't have to go back to the oncologist for 6 whole months that seems like forever to us. Thank you all again for your prayers and support bucking me up. It's been a roller coaster that's for sure.

Re: Cancer update: news is good
Congratulations! The next six months will fly by. For MM, they said five years is what to aim for, and we have made it thru two as of last month, so three more to go! We still see the doctors every six months as well.pat.

Re: Cancer update: news is good
Oh, what wonderful news! I prayed so for your husband's return to health. Thank you for sharing this good news with us.
And keep in mind that cancer can be beaten. Our oldest daughter was diagnosed with breast cancer on her 27th birthday. After six months of chemo plus a mastectomy, she was cancer free. And, most importantly, she has remained cancer free for ten years. They say that you can breathe a sigh of relief after ten years.
