    If you have a rolling sewing chair that adjusts height, I would bring it. All of the retreats I have been to have those folding 6ft tables which is great but the chairs available are usually to low for comfort. I always bring my own rolling office chair. It sits very nicely seat side down on a back seat with its wheels in the air.
    Also, does the place have an ironing board? you mentioned your iron but a surface will be good too.

    Great advice. As it happens though, the place we are going is specifically geared to crafters and each station has an ergonomic adjustable office chair

    The one thing I'm always searching for is a paper and pen. Also my seam ripper, I've left that at home during day retreats and it is hard to use a scissors for a ripper. Have a great time, I know you will enjoy yourself.
