    Default Electric Pressure Cooker?

Does anyone have a large “electric” pressure cooker they recommend for canning? I’m looking to buy one. I would like the cooker to hold 7 quart jars. Thank you. I have a water canner, but I’m looking at canning vegetables that Ball recommends a pressure cooker. My next step after this forum, will be calling the Ball 800 number.

The normal electric pressure cookers like Instant Pot are not recommended for pressure canning. I don't know if they make one specifically for pressure canning. To do 7 quart jars it would have to be huge

Sorry I don't. But I do have a regular pressure cooker. They are not difficult to use, I can a lot of things including meats.

I have a regular pressure cooker that holds 7 quarts. I've had it for years....probably 35. I do all my canning with it. I didn't know they made electric ones.

I have 16 qt Mirro(stove-top) for canning. I don't believe the instant pot types are recommended for canning. The stove-top ones are a bit pricey but they last a lifetime-I've had mine over 40 years, replace the seal as needed.

Like others have said, they don't recommend the electric pressure cookers for canning.

I have a 6 quart and a 3 quart instant pot and cook dinner using one or both a couple times a week.

I just finished making a cheesecake in my Insta pot. Smells delicious. It has to sit in the refrigerator overnite to meld the flavors. So I will have cheesecake for breakfast. It does have eggs, right??
