    Default price increase?

When did the cost of machine quilting go up? I was especially shocked to hear how much is charged for binding a quilt, and that it is a flat charge no matter if it's a baby quilt or kingsize.

Maybe this has been discussed on here and I missed it, but I just recently recommended M* to someone based on the old pricing. I realize the cost of everything keeps going up, but 50% is a BIG jump.

My local shop went up, only a 1/2 cent. My shop doesn't do binding, but the have folks they recommend. I don't mind doing the binding, I do it all on the machine anyway.

That was a few months ago, before the start of the new year. I agree, it is a big a jump.

I am pretty sure the price increase has been in place for at least 6 months, if not longer. Binding has always been a flat fee for all sizes from baby to king.
