    Default Fabric with words

I am starting a simple block quilt using some fabric pieces that have words on them. I'm curious to know how any of you piece the squares together. Do you pay attention to keeping the words upright throughout the entire quilt? Do you piece them together randomly, letting some be upside-down?

I'm a beginner quilter, so this is stumping me......thanks for sharing any thoughts you may have!

I made an Xs and Os quilt with fabric with text on it. In the blocks I made sure to mix it up, but when I put on the border, I placed it so that it could be read from the outside. (Imagine the quilt on the bed and you are standing near the bed and look at the border)

But if there are other items on the quilt that are directional (like a fussy cut of a bird, or an embroidered block) then I would piece the text in the same direction.
