Smile Feathered Star Quilt finally finished

    Dear quilters,
finally I finished my feathered star quilt, it took me more than a year to get it finished. It is 110x115“ and I quilted it on my Janome 6700 p and it wasn’t as bad as I was thinking. The pattern is by Jessie Ziegler and all stars except the center star are paper pieced. Fabrics are Liberty quilting cotton and quilters linen in the background.
I love this quilt though I made some mistakes. I tried so hard to do everything right but there is always something..it never came in my mind that pink fabric in the backing could shine through batting and top. Now it is pretty obvious but however... every new quilt gives you some lessons.
    Thanks for taking the time!
    Kind regards
    Uli

That is the most amazing quilt! I love both the pattern and your quilting. It's sure to become a family heirloom :-)

Wow, that is an amazing quilt. I don't attempt to quilt this size any more on my sit down machine.

Kudos for a job well done.
