    Default 14 blocks, part 2

So pleased with the look of the top. I have just enough blue flower fabric left for the binding. The picture does not show the 6" background framing the top. The back is layed out and I just have to sew it together. It will finish about 60x60. It will be a gift for my best friend's mother-in-law. A lap quilt for chilly evenings. I am just thrilled these blocks have new life. Thank you to all for all the input and advice. I was pointed in a good direction.

Thank you. I wish I could buy more of the blue floral fabric. It has the perfect combination of color shades and compliments a variety of colors.....and it makes me smile inside!

What a lovely quilt and a wonderful ending for those beautiful blocks someone started in the past. I am so glad you posted your picture and, I agree, the blue floral is perfect for the border and sashings. It perfectly frames those pretty blocks. What a fortunate lady the recipient will be and how nice of you to give the blocks new life!

Lovely quilt! So glad you put those blocks together they were too pretty not to be finished. Sure your friend will love her lap quilt.
