    Default Asian wall hanging finished-

'bout time, huh? If you remember the original post and question...

This turned out to be two quilts, quilted individually so stitching doesn't on the opposing side and mess with the pieced design. The backs for each were muslin with Project Fleece (Fairfied from Walmart) batt. On the front (red side) quilting is straight lines to emphasize the design using Monopoly, with red used to echo the lantern shapes. The back (kimono) was also stitched using mono to define the piecing, with some flowing lines on the kimono fabric. Once done, both pieces were "glued" together with Heat n Bond Lite. I held my breath while fusing hoping to get enough heat transfer to hold it together without damaging the Mono quilting thread. It worked.

Good job! I would have not thought of fusing them together.
