A week or so back I heard that Train Fabric in Tacoma is closing. My purchases there wouldn't keep them alive, but I sure enjoyed shopping there every time I was in TAC to visit family. I like both fabric and trains. Shame to see them go but given the owners age (and surliness) I'm not surprised. Really a fun place.

Her husband died about eight years ago. Her health is now failing. She has always been nice and pleasant to me, but I know others who feel the way you do.
Her shop is less than two miles from my house and I will miss her.pat.

My favorite shop in the Tacoma area is Shibori Dragon. I used to go there whenever I flew out to visit my folks (before they moved). I don't think I've even heard of Fabric Train :/Comment
