Default how to make cathedral windows with 6 in blocks

Hi - am a newbie to this forum and have a problem trying to make a cathedral window quilt with unusual size squares. Instead of using the usual 2.5 or 4 inch squares mine are 6 inch squares.
Have been gifted with a supply of 6 inch squares and would like to know how to use these as the center window for a cathedral window quilt. I need to know the size to make the squares that make the 'frame' )(.
    Thanks for any help.
