Well, not a quilt show entry as such. This is for entry in the themed challenge at our guild's upcoming show. The theme is "black, white, and bright." Size limited to 180" perimeter. To be voted on as "member's choice."

Very pretty, trying to figure out the pattern, but I love the borders that you made. Good luck at the show.

The color scheme is not original. There's lots of examples of Black, white, and Red. I love them and it fit the criteria. The rest, while not really original, is my wandering mind. You never know what going on in Red Dog's studio.

No pattern. 8" squares cut in three pieces. Made the templates so each square is the same, except for color arrangement. The red diamonds in the middle are snowballed. Add borders to get the desired size. Outer border is Seminole pieced, with a flange binding. Quilting is simple STID (even the border pieces) on a medium loft poly batt. Very easy to do. Fun as heck too.

OK, now I see it. I never would have figured that out. Beautiful quilt and love the red dog in the bottom corner.
