    Default "I Don't Want It, You Can Have It"

    https://forum.missouriquiltco.com/group.php?groupid=115

    I see that Deb mentioned there wasn't a whole lot of activity on the "I Don't Want It, You Can Have It" Group. With such recent growth of new members on the forum, I thought it appropriate to let them know what the group is all about.

    an act of giving one thing and receiving another (esp. of the same type or value) in return.
    "an exchange of FABRIC"
    synonyms: interchange, trade, trading, swapping,
    "the exchange of ideas and FABRIC"
    the giving of FABRIC for its equivalent in FABRIC from another quilter's stash.
    transactions involving FABRIC, etc., can be carried out within or between quilters.
    a move in which quilters capture material of comparable value, or particularly ( the exchange ) in which one captures a FQ, a Jelly Roll, a Charm, a scrap, or several yards (and is said to win the exchange ).
    a group used for the trading of a particular FABRIC or FABRICS.

    verb: exchange;
    give something and receive something of the same kind in return.
    "we exchanged FABRIC"
    synonyms: trade, swap, switch, change, interchange More
    "we traded FABRIC"
    give or receive one thing in place of another.

    New Members always welcome. Here's a place to trade out something sewing related that no longer gives you happiness. And remember, SELLING is not allowed on this forum.

    Thanks for the reminder. It's the new year and some ppl are sorting out their stash. This is a good way to narrow your stuff down and unload things you no longer want or need. I have a trade pending right now with pixiedust.

    I'm having a "use it in a quilt top anyway" month. Two controlled scrappy tops so far. One in reds and white, one in greens and cream.
