    Default Flannel Baby Quilts

I made a couple of flannel baby quilts--I love flannel--so soft and warm.

Both are combinations of 6" squares and 6" nine-patches--very simple, but still interesting. This is a good use for a focus fabric in combination with smaller pieces of coordinating colors. They are 44" square, with flannel front and back.

The chair in the photos belonged to my great-great grandmother.

Beautiful baby quilts and lucky babies to get wrapped up in them!

Flannel quilts are my favorite for babies. I make flannel quilts for all of the babies born to parents who live in our apartments at the time they are born. I also make them for tenants who are battling life threatening illnesses.

I agree flannel is so soft, but very warm in our warm climate in Texas.

Simple but beautiful design. These will be keepers for generations like the rocking chair is to you.

Beautiful! I love flannel quilts too. They get better and better with every washing.
