    Not close enough. But she does so beautiful quilting. We do have some LAQ who have quilted other people's quilt entered in national Canadian and U.S. shows. One is only a few hours away.

    The fabrics are Kona solids, as a bundle it is called Lagoon. Not far from ocean.

    The designer is Julie Herman of Jaybird Quilts. She created he Hex 'n more ruler and Disekick rulers. All her patterns are triangles, parrallegrams, diamonds. So lots of bias. Also made the Gravity quilt first year I was wuilting. I took a class and learned how to carefully work with bias blocks and matching points. Click image for larger version.

    that turned out lovely! I have sympathized with you on your comments on laying it out. I also made a king Boomerang and the only place large enough to lay it out was the family room floor. The dog however thought I was on the floor to play with him. He kept rearranging blocks. I was trying carefully to have a good mix of colors and textures but know I missed a few areas where I had "help". I love Jaybird patterns!! Julie is a genius.
