FUN,fun,fun!

Good morning all. The Catskills had a warm up in the middle of the Polar Vortex. Yesterday, we delt with water that didn't know where to go. So, I have 2 layer cakes and decide to make half square triangles. Now I am having fun with all the ways you can sew them together. I need to do final layout on my bed. The table is not big enough. The temps dropped last night so no more rogue water.

What a great idea for a learning / teaching quilt. Now I must do this.

As much as most people hate winter, I find its my most creative time of year. I hibernate at any blink of any bad weather. It's a win-win situation. Playing in my happy space keeps the blues away.

Have it sewn in strips to get it off my bed. It is 5 blocks by 6 blocks. Finished block is about 12 inches. Fun, fun, fun!

I really like that you have done it as a sampler. It probably wouldn't look nearly as good if you had used a layer cake that has a lot of different patterns/size of print. That would be confusing. Yours is easy on the eyes but intriguing.

Thank you....that is what I like about gingham. Put gingham with white and it makes clashy colors work. And I played with a new technique. And a fun time was had by all.
