    Default Goodnight Irene Top

Just wanted to share even though I still need to quilt it, but I am so happy this top is finally finished. It is for a niece's wedding in May. Click image for larger version.

Thanks to all of you who provided the much needed advice regarding the border. Will try to get it quilted next weekend since I am out of town this week.

I love the Good Night Irene pattern. Is that Mayfield's indigo? It's perfect!

Karen, that's just stunning! I'm currently working on a Square Star quilt, which I figure is the stepped-down-easy version of Good Night Irene. It makes me appreciate the beauty of what you've just finished! I think your choice of fabrics is brilliant.

Yes, it is Mayfield's indigo. I bought 2 jelly rolls last year when it was on sale during the birthday bash.
