    Stringy Lanes

    First finish of 2019

    I replaced four-patches with string blocks in the traditional Sunny Lanes pattern. I'm not thrilled with the 'lanes" at the edges of the quilt--next time, I'll spend a bit more time planning a more symmetrical finished pattern. I do, however, love the colors and the fun fabrics. 74" x 94"

        It's a beautiful quilt, and quite cheery. I like it, just the way it is.

                You amaze me at how quickly you turn out your strip quilts. Love this one.

                  I have got to make a String Quilt! I keep saving "strips", and then wonder why am I doing it. Just gotta do it!
