Default Special people in our lives that just seem to "happen".

I've lived here for 6 years. I have a neighbor across the street who has a large family, she works and is always a busy, busy lady. In the beginning we'd be friendly but basically just waves and smiles. After I lived here three years for Christmas she'd also drop off a gift and some baked goods. I've realized over the years that she must have a subconscious link to my brain. The first year I had been sitting here a little depressed, I had very little money and I was wishing that I could afford to get just a little pointsetta (sp?) plant. I couldn't afford a Christmas tree that year. That afternoon, Toni stops by with a gift....a pointsetta plant...a big one! I almost cried and did after she left and I thanked god. Each year this woman seems to gift me something I had been wishing I had but wouldn't spend the money myself for. She just stopped off with baked goods and a gift. I did peek and what did I see but a Mr. Coffee Maker. OMG, mine had broken about a month ago and although I wished I could replace it I didn't want to spend the extra money. How does this woman do that!!!! She seems to be linked into a direct line between me and my conversations with God. This also sometimes happens with her throughout the year!!! I just thought I'd mention it and I'm wondering if anyone else has a person in their life like this.

    Women are Angels.
    When someone
    break's our wings
    we will continue to
    fly...usually on a
    broomstick.
    We're flexible like that.

Carlie, This woman sounds like she is your angel on earth. How very fortunate you are to be her neighbours. Sometimes, I think people come into our lives for a reason.

I think mine is my husband Michael. I call him my Archangel. He is always here for me, and seems to know when I need something, a whether it's a hug, dinner out, or that beautiful piece of fabric. This is why I try to pay it forward when I can.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.

What a wonderful blessing this neighbor is in your life.

    P.S. I love her name!

I am so grateful to God that he blessed you with this neighbor. She is your gift from God. and I might add, you may be hers. We all need to be needed and giving is such a rewarding gift.

It is very possible your neighbor is a godly woman who is prompted to do what she has done. God knows what we need, just when we need it, so He sometimes urges other folks to do acts of kindness. You can be very grateful to have her for a neighbor. May you be blessed this Christmas holiday.
