A long time ago someone gave me a panel with lighthouse squares on it. I kept it for a long time not knowing exactly what to do with it. A few days ago I purchased some fabric for another project and, lo and behold, when I got it home it was perfect for these lighthouse squares. So - this is what I came up with. I used fusible fleece as the batting and did a pillowcase turn so that I would take away from the beautiful water/waves fabric. I also only did a bit of quilting around the lighthouse blocks and a bit on the inside. I have a sister-in-law that loves lighthouses and I thought this would be perfect for her house. So - what do you think???
