    Gingerbread men on Parade

I have always started Christmas planning early. Howard and I picked up fabric for bowl cozies for Jim's in-laws after Christmas last year. It took a back seat for a while but I finally pulled out the fabric we chose for Nana and Nandy. She always reads the ginger bread girl and boy to the kids and makes gingerbread boys/ girls with them.

So when I saw the gingerbread fabric, I knew that's what I wanted for them!

I made two of Rob's hot pads, screwed up 4 bowl cozies that ended up being trinket boxes, and 4 bowl cozies for them.

Nana and Nandy have three kids, so I'm thinking one trinket box for each family with some delicious Peterbrook's Chocolates inside might be enjoyed after Christmas dinner.

Oh Katrina. They are so cute and adorable. This reminds me that I bought some gingerbread fabric years ago to make aprons for the grandkids. Oh well, maybe next year.
Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

They are adorable, and i'm impressed with your resourcefulness in transforming the oops cozies into trinket boxes.

Katrina, those are all sooo cute!! I love the gingerbread theme too! My kitchen hutch is decorated with it. And I love the trinket boxes! What a cute fix!! They will be so cute with candy in them! I need to try that. Thanks for the idea!!
