    Default batting by the roll

Do any of you buy batting by the roll? Where do you purchase from? I usually buy it at JoAnns but after ordering a roll yesterday I was notified today that the order has been cancelled because it is no longer in stock. I really need to find another vendor and just simply stop JoAnns all together.

I found good prices at walmart.com.

That said I have been getting mine from Joanns too. I tend to have coupons so go into the store and deal with getting 12+ yards cut.

When I need more I will be shopping around.

We went to the store yesterday and they only had a couple of rolls with about 4-5 yds on each. Didn't think they would be getting more in before Christmas-and this was going to be a gift for DD.

I use walmart online shopping all the time for things like this. I usually get things pretty quick- about a week. Right now delivery may be a bit slower. But shipping is free at a certain price point.

I have always bought mine at J's but when I need more will check out walmart.com.

What type did you order that they said they would not have? Maybe they are changing manufacturers?

I toggle between WalMart, JoAnns and Amazon. I go with whoever has the best deal on Warm and Natural.

I just placed my Walmart order, will get here-free shipping in plenty of time, by Monday! I was trying to order warm & white, or natural, or plush with j's but they had no rolls available, just by the yard and they could not guarantee that it would be cut in one large piece. Could only get 9 yd bolts at W but that is much better than the unknown cuts.

Thanks gals, I did not know W had batting like that.

I haven't purchased the batting at Marshall's but I do purchase fabrics there sometimes. I've always found them to ship promptly and I get it quite fast.
