    Default Challenge Quilt

Our guild had us bring in 2 yards of the ugliest fabric we had cut into 2.5 inch strips. From this we were to design a quilt. We could add more fabric for borders and then we will quilt them and give them to the nursing home. This was mine. It is due in March so I can take my time about quilting it. All those little blocks hide some of the worst fabric choice you can find.

It's is beautiful. Even ugly fabrics can shine.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.

You've made it into something that doesn't reflect ugly. Great job!

I think that is an excellent way to use "less than beautiful" fabrics.
    Yours turned out pretty!

That gives me hope for a few "less than beautiful" fabrics in my stash.

I'm going to make a note on my black board.... That's a great way to use some of those I don't know what to do with this fabric that I was gifted (because I certainly wouldn't have bought that fabric!).
