I'm not usually a negative person but this 14 day estimate may even be optimistic. For me mail always slows during the holidays with the volume of mail and packages all the carriers have to deal with. Guess we'll see.

All I can say is I ordered batting from Walmart late Friday afternoon and it arrived on my door step this morning. With all the problems, I am not sure I should try M*, at least until they get things straight. In the mean time my wish lists are filling up.

In case anyone is wondering, nothing shipped Smartpost after the 10th is likely to make it by Christmas. This from the Fedex website.

    Hi Auntstuff,

Thank you for reaching out in the Forum. My name is Lisa and I work at Missouri Star. I wanted to let you know that we knew about the Fed Ex Smart Post cut off on the 10th and have made arrangements to automatically upgrade all packages ordered between today and December 13th to Fed Ex Ground. This guarantees that if you order before December 13th that your order will arrive before Christmas.
We will continue to monitor this thread and will reach out as much as necessary.
We appreciate you very much and thank you for being part of the Missouri Star family.
I hope you have a blessed Christmas and a very happy 2019!
    Best,
    Lisa

Last year around the holidays there were timely mailing problems too! This is just not good for business. I am only ordering things I don't need on a timely basis.

Mailing is always fun this time of year. I'm still trying to figure out why FedEx would send my package from M* to Madison, Wisconsin before it headed down to Florida. I'm sure there must be a hub somewhere, but geez!

Katrina, it seems like the hub in Tennessee would have made more sense. It is definitely hard to understand some of these business decisions. It would be nice if we could get some of these comments to someone at FedEx that cares.
