    Default Plain Jelly Roll Help

Early in my quilting career, I purchased a jelly roll. I thought it was going to be all one shade of cream, but it was various shades ranging from yellow-cream to a dark khaki. I simply don't know what to do with it. Can't be used for background, so what do I use it for? Thanks.

You could use it for the background on this jelly roll pattern. Just pick any colored jellyroll for the other part of the pattern.

You could use it for one side of a log cabin block.

Almost any Bonnie Hunter quilt has various neutral colors used together for backgrounds.

I would set it aside for a future log cabin. Usually you never have enough lights and this is a full range. They will be perfect.
