Good deal. I just don't know if I need another quilting item. I may have to buy a bigger house for all my tools and gadgets.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.

I got the same size from QIAD for a similar price. I highly recommend getting one if you are on the fence about it!

A couple of months ago, I purchased a large woolen mat from Quilt in a Day when they had it on sale. I finally got it out yesterday. OMG, I can't believe how wonderful these mats are! I used it to press a paper-pieced wall hanging, and all those seams are flatter than flat. Worth every penny!

A question for those of you who have one: How do you store it? Because it absorbs so much steam, it was damp when I finished using it. I was concerned that it would damage my ironing big board, so I set it on my clothes drying rack to dry.

When you steam them, they stink like wet sheep

MSN, I store mine like this. My sewing room also has a filing cabinet and bookcase. I have an office metal file rack 4 tier that I turned on its side so the metal dividers are pointed up to the ceiling, not flat parallel with the floor. I keep my file with paid biils in one of the dividers and stand the pressing mat up between two of the other dividers. It seems to dry just fine and since the dividers are just about the same size I haven't had any problems with the mat bending or warping. I love the mat and I guess $38 is not too bad a price for the bigger mat but I would never pay the full price $68 that is way too much $$ IMO.
