    Default applyng backing

I need to know when applying backing do I put the wrong side to the batting or the right side to the batting. I already have the batting basted to the top of the Quilt? Please help!

If you're planning to bind the quilt....

put the batting to the wrong side of the backing fabric

I usually put my backing down on the floor, pretty side on the carpet, then the batting, then the top right side up.

already basted to the top of the quilt... well you will have to put the backing on and baste it too now. if you had done all three layers together you would be done. It is still doable so don't fret. I tend to spray baste my quilts because basting kills my back anymore. so back side of batting on top of the batting. baste through and quilt. then add binding.

Keep it simple. You want to hide the ugly side, so put that on the inside (on the batting).

This is the shortest clearest video I could find.
    I hope it helps.
