Pellon nature's touch with scrim up to 8" apart?

I am working on a big quilt. I got pellon nature's touch with scrim batting.

The quilt pattern I am doing leaves many 3.5x3.5 inch squares unquilted.

Do I trust the "up to 8 inches apart" and figure 3.5 is ok or add more quilting?

Anyone use this in a bed quilt that will be washed often?

The 3.5 should be fine. I've used that batting before with a meander and it washes nicely. no shifting of batting.
