    Yummy Soup for dinner

Monique, I think you're the one that had a recipe with Cream of Bacon Soup.

I couldn't find it until a couple of weeks ago. I LOVE IT!

Tonight I threw together a pot of soup.

I cut up a pound of smoked sausage and a sweet onion and browned those in the soup pot.

Then I added a couple of large potatoes (cubed) and a pound of carrots (sliced) and a quart of beef stock.

I seasoned with salt, pepper, minced garlic, two bay leaves, and a pinch of cloves.

When the potatoes were semi-soft I added 1 can of Cream of Bacon Soup and brought it back to a boil. Once the potatoes and carrots were soft, I added half a bag of silver queen corn.

Once it came back to a boil and everything was heated through, Mike and I devoured 2 bowls each!

    Delicious!

Glad you liked it Katrina but I don't recall it being me, haha.

Well, it was a shrimp linguine with cream of bacon soup. I've yet to try that, but I know we will.

Thanks to who ever it was! lol
