    Default R.I.P.

    Hi

Me my youngest daughter and my nice went to visit mom yesterday.
    It was a good visit.

To day my brother in law calls and let us know that she passed away this morning.

She is now in peace and without pain.

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

May you all find comfort in these days ahead. It is not easy to lose a parent. I am glad you had such a good visit before her passing. Will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Losing a loved one especially around the Holidays is difficult. I lost my mom and brother together 50 years ago and you never forget. Time will heal the pain but you never forget. Prayers to you and your family to give you peace and comfort.
