    Default Caveat Emptor, y'all

    (Buyer beware, everyone)

I can't believe I did this stupid thing, lol.

My mom wants me to make a lap blanket for the lady who dogsits for her. She found some cute all-over dogs fabric & sent it to me. In the meantime I was shopping for some browns & tans because I don't have much in my stash.

Well. I found a perfect charm pack and it was only $6.99! So I bought four!!! Because why not, right?

The package arrived today. I apparently missed the "mini" part of the description, because I now have four charm packs of 24 squares each. Lesson (hopefully!) learned.

Yeah, I've noticed those half jelly rolls and smaller packs. You think you're getting a good deal, until you realize you really didn't.

It's sad they're moving to 40 pieces instead of the 42 there used to be in layer cakes and jelly rolls.

Sad way to learn. I'm sure you can make it work, if you can't return them.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.

Hard lesson learned. I've done similar things more than once.

Oh, we've all done ......something! Perhaps it's still doable.....with four patches, or something. Hope you find a great solution. Sounds like a fun project and you're sweet to make it for your mums sitter.

Oh, I don't think I'll try to return them - it was my mistake andvtgey are just right for doggie fabric. I think I'm going to make the "super duper easy" hourglass blocks and alternate them with a square of doggies.
