    Default A Whale of a Quilt!

    We are expecting our first grand baby next month. I’ve already made him a quilt that my daughter and husband picked out (the blue Fox Among the Birches quilt). Then after I had made it, I found this sweet quilt. I had to make it because it was perfect for them. My son-in-law is a biologist and has traveled around the world with his work group tagging whales. They attach a yellow suction cup to the whale’s back that has a transmitter on it. The transmitter stays attached for a couple of days and sends back info about the whale’s movements, etc. I’m so excited to give this to them. ❤️

    I love it! What a perfect gift for your grandbaby. I agree this is one of the cutest whale quilts I have seen and your work is beautiful. There is nothing better than a new grandbaby congrats!
