    Default Flannel backing & FMQ

Just wondering how it handles for FMQ. Does is stay in place well or move to easily? Is extra basting required. I would like to find a Christmas themed one for the back of a couple of quilts, anyone have a source?

I use it a lot for many quilts and don't do anything different. The last was on a twin size quilt for GD, found wide flannel at Joanns that worked great.

I have made many with flannel backing. No problem if it's basted.

Just finished a baby quilt. Other than making my machine a bit more dusty, no difference at all in the quilting. I used glue to baste. My new favorite thing, Elmer’s washable glue!
