Default Make a "Basket Of Blooms" Quilt with Jenny!

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

Oh my, I can see this in 30's reproduction fabric!
Thanks for posting these every week!

This block is so cute! I did a quick edit in Paint to see what the quilt would look like with thinner sashing between the blocks. I think it makes the flowers stand out more.

It might be fun to use the blocks from snowballing the corners to make an extra border, like the Pinwheels on Point tutorial.

I really like the pattern, like the fabric she used but
don't like the accent color. Looks easy enough. Wish Jenny
would show a second smaller sample in a different
    colorway.

I like when pattern writers include an alternate colorway quilt for their designs. It has changed my mind before about patterns I would have otherwise passed on buying. Dark background vs. light background, vibrant vs. subdued colors can transform the character of the design.

I didn't care for that brown fabric either. It's a cute pattern, but it sure involves a lot of snowballing. I won't be making this one any time soon, but maybe down the road some time.

I like it I'd do a lap quilt of it. Every block is snow balled 20 times. For those who don't like the basket fabric. What would you use... cause it looks like a basket to me.
