everything is 2 1/2" strips and the blocks are 10". Would you use a 3" or 5" strip for the borders or something totally different? I have enough of the yellow for the borders and some left over jelly strips for the binding. Haven't decided on the backing yet.

I'd start with 5" and see what that looks like. Because it's a modern quilt, you could skip the border entirely but I think a 5" border would balance out the big blocks.

My thought is 5" border as well.

I would frame it first with a 2.5 inch inner border in white or off white and then add a border of 5 ... I like to do an inner border because it separate the body of the quilt from the outer border... looks finished. HTH.

I think a border would be nice but I , personally, would pick up some of the bold colors for the inner border and then use the yellow as a wider border

That's really cute. I go with the frame of thin white and then 5 inch. Are those critters embroidered or appliqued or fabric fussy cuts?

If it's wide enough I would omit the border. This design looks modern to me and I think I would keep it simple.
