    Default Solids

I need to purchase 5 yards of solid black fabric. Do you have a preference in brands? I seem to remember purchasing a brand that frayed sometuawful, but canít remember what brand it was.

I always have fraying with Kona black fabric and I hate it, but I use it when necessary. The Moda Bella was a little better. I recently used some of Craftsy Boundless fabric in black and I was surprised that it did not fray much. It's reasonably priced but must be purchased in 1-yard increments. Looks like they have enough black for you.

I prefer Cotton Supreme. That is my preferred brand for solids.
There are no perfect quilts, because I am a imperfect quilter.

Sorry, I don't know. Since I haven't bought Bella Solids. I can't compare. But I do love their finish.

The Bella solid has a soft almost polished finish. How about the Cotton Supreme.? Kathy

To me they are very soft.

I got some of the black that Hobby Lobby carries, Its either Kona or Robert Kauffman. Nice and thick, doesn't seem to fray.
