2060 pieces all cut up and pieced back together so I was very thankful for my Accuquilt. The pattern is by Pam & Nicky Lintott and jelly roll friendly though I used fabric from my stash and scrap basket. Although I often back my lap quilts with faux fur throws I made the mistake this time of using a heavy and thick faux mink fur fleece which kept creeping and no amount of adhesive spray and pins kept it in place. lesson learned, though it will keep me nice and warm on the sofa this winter. Although I love to FMQ feathers on borders I was intimidated at the thought of doing an all over feather design - did it anyway and found it one of the easiest to do! All done on my domestic Janome 8200. Maureen xxx

Beautiful quilt and lots of tiny pieces! I like this pattern, but think the cutting would do me in.

Maureen, that's gorgeous! You must have the patience of Job to do all those small HSTs. But what a great way to use up scraps.

Oh Bababoo, you done it again! You get the blue ribbon. You're work is one of my favorites and to which I aspire.

That is an inspiring quilt for sure and I think one of my favorite this year. I love little pieces in quilts. They look so homey

Holy cow that's lots of pieces! I would love to see this one in person, it is just gorgeous. Once it gets cold you will be really glad that you used the fake fur for the back and everyone in your family will be fighting over who's turn it is to have it on their lap.
