I get it...this has been my experience. I so wish they would just use USPS..or something faster than UPS Sure Post...I love both services, but when then "combine" the tow...it kinda slows things down.

Just think of the money USPS might have saved had it come in a more direct fashion.

On a recent trip to Kansas, we shipped 3 large boxes to our home (Canada) be FedEx. The boxes were packed/shipped Wednesday and arrived home on Friday. We asked FedEx to hold until our arrival home on Monday.

Now the cost probably reflects the quality and speed of delivery. And these costs would be prohibitive for most businesses.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.

I Hate the US Postal Service. Takes forever to get anything! I work in an office and it takes 7 days to get mail from one of our co-workers in a town 20 miles away (No Joke!). When I order anything I hope it comes UPS or FedEx. In small town Iowa the mail does not run 24/7 so the service is very aggravating and our postal employees are no help. Their reply is always "I'm sorry but there's nothing I can do about it." GRRR. Thank you for UPS (we like our delivery guy) and FedEx.
